Feedback and Compliments

The quality of Jason Webb’s work and his training of fellow surgeons is well known. Below you will find feedback and testimonials from Jason’s patients and colleagues.

If you would like to provide feedback on Mr Webb please contact him directly. He would also be immensely grateful to any patients who are happy to leave a review on the website I want great care.

I get no pain from my hip and can do everything I could have done before. Since the surgery I have returned to kayaking white water at a similar level (Grade 3-4) to before my hip became a problem. I have done around forty white water kayak and canoe trips in the last year. I have walked pretty much all of the hills in the Brecon Beacons National Park and also walked in North Wales, Dartmoor and Scotland. From the early days post op to later when I was walking up a mountain or paddling white water I would say to my wife that I wondered what Mr Webb would think. I am pleased to be able to recount this for Mr Webb. New hip, new life! Thanks.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the the amazing job you guys did on me. I was very reluctant to go through with the procedure because of the finality and fear of it all. And given the fact I felt I was too young at 48. But through the professionalism, skill and genuine care you showed me every step of the way (excuse the pun) it couldn’t have gone better! I realise I’ve still some ways to go but the outcome already far exceeded my expectations. And for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Indeed if , or when , I need the other hip replaced I wouldn’t want anybody else but you to do it for me. Thank you so much. I attach a picture of me holidaying in Venice just 19 days after my op.

Thank you for all the teaching and training and trust over the last year. I’ve learnt many things from you that I’m proud to take into my own practice.
You are a fantastic role model. All your patients are exceptionally fortunate to have you caring for them

An enormous ‘thank you’ for your sheer brilliance as a surgeon, your skills, your gentle kindness, thoroughness and attention to every detail. I knew I would be safe once back in your hands

I am writing to thank you very much for all your superb care and attention in managing my hip problem. I was sorry to present you with such a complex problem but was very reassured by the way you approached the problem and by all the preparations that you had put in place for the operation. It is a tribute to your surgical skills that you have managed to deal with all the different aspects of my operation and produced what looks like a superb result. I was very apprehensive about the possible outcomes and greatly relieved when I saw you after the operation and heard what you had achieved. Thank you again for all your incredible care and professionalism in looking after me. The recommendations that I should have my surgery done by you were spot on!!

I write to thank you for the wonderful care, kindness and expertise that you and your team gave to me at a very worrying time

Thanks for your skilled work and of course for your helpful & friendly attitude

Hip surgery changed my life. Before my first hip operation I was in constant pain and couldn’t walk more than 250 metres without sticks. I had less than 8 per cent rotation in the joint. The loves of my life- climbing, skiing and running severely limited. Since having both joints replaced, I have climbed my hardest rock climb, ascended some of the most famous north faces in the Alps and pulled sleds up mountains in Alaska. I have skied toured the famous Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt and descended numerous steep off piste couloirs. I run cross country and mountain bike. I am lucky enough to never get any pain from my new hips – indeed I forget they are there. I hang upside down from my heels on overhanging rock climbs and jump onto crash mats from the top of our local climbing wall. My message to anyone suffering from osteoarthritis is that if the pain starts interfering with your life and making you miserable, then don’t be afraid to have surgery. As long as you put the effort into the rehab, you can get brilliant results. Many thanks to you and your team for their fantastic work.

Thank you for my first step on the road to recovery. Your dedication and skill is a vocation above and beyond. I’m not smelling of roses but I know I will get there

Thanks for taking on mum and all that you did. I know it’s all routine for you but we are in your debt for helping her. You are a genuinely incredible doctor Jason and we are very grateful

Thank you very much for all your skill and hard work to repair my difficult hip. It is a wonderful result. I have no pain and excellent mobility, now able to walk without a limp and one stick. At my age I am really most grateful to you for even attempting to create a new hip and thank you most sincerely for your kindness

Many thanks for your excellent care
